The cruise terminal expansion project will turn Nacala into one of the main ports of the Western Indian Ocean. The 120 million dollar investment is expected to create more than 800 direct jobs by 2028.
Nacala has one of the deepest natural bays in Africa, allowing it to receive ships that cannot dock at other ports on the east coast.
